Figured I'd introduce myself here. I just bought a 2000 S80 with 106000 miles at the auction for $3200. Paint is in excellent shape, the interior needs a few things, nothing major. So far, I'm impressed with the car. Tranny shifts well and rides straight.
I'm replacing the timing belt and a wheel bearingtomorrow. It may need an ABS module that I'll send out to get rebuilt if it needs it. I also think the throttle body could use cleaning. I've read these forums up and down since last Friday. I've already learned a lot about these cars, thanks for the great site!
