Hello all,
My name is Chris and I'm currently in the market for my first Volvo. I've wanted one for years and I look forward to finally owning one. I also look forward to learning more about these wonderful machines on this forum.

I'm mainly interested in the first generation s80. I am aware of the t6 transmission issues but I'm fairly mechanically inclined. Hopefully I can find an AWD T5 somewhere near me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this forum.

I don't think any early S80's were AWD. From what I have read, try to stay away from the '99 model year.
