My wife and I recently purchased a 2005 S40 T5 AWD, I figured I better get on board a Volvo forum to save money & learn more about it rather than taking it to a dealer if minor issues arise.

I'm a Do-it-yourselfer for repairs on my vehicles. I'm not a wealthy man, and I like to know exactly what's going on with my vehicles.

I do every little thing on my Jeep Wrangler, down to the alignment. Every issue that ever arose on that I have solved through forums and friends without ever having to spend a dime at a dealer or mechanic. And it feels great to know as much as I do about it. Same with my Honda Accord.
