"New" Volvo owner in Cleveland
Hello everyone.
Checking in.
Moderator at SaabCentral, currently own 2 Saabs.
A 1998 900 SE Coupe and a 1999 9-3 Convertible.
We have a baby on the way. Any day now. Decide to look for a Sedan. Everyone tells me "you are going to want one!!!"
As much as she likes her car, the wife refuses to be a 3 Saab family.
The short list and test driven cars were: a Mercedes C240, an Audi A4, and a S40.
The S40, to my surprise, my wife really enjoyed. The dealer was actually a bit pushy and it turned us off a bit. So we kept looking. That put Volvo's on our list, though.
Fast forward a week (isn't it nice to be able to take your time to look for a car?).
In that week we test drove an S60. My wife really liked that. It had too many miles though.
Last night we decided to stop at a local dealer that had a half dozen Volvos. Test drove an S40. It was ok. No moon roof, no heated seats a bit of a turn off, FWD very basic model. Saab owners spoiled by heated seats.
We were considering it when we noticed the gorgeous siler 07 S60 on the lot. A bit more then we wanted to spend though.
We drove it. Yep. Then we bought it. WOW! What a great car that is. Looking forward to taking delivery. Pics to follow when I pick her up.
I think I got a good, but not excellent, deal. Feel free to tell me if I did not. lol
2007 S60, 50,200 Miles, AWD, Climate Package + Moon Roof: $14,250. Was an even $15.
Looking forward to becoming a part of this community. Cheers!
