I bought a 2000 s80 t6 about a month ago and i love the car. I've been reading other Volvo forums but i found this one to be much better and informative. No problems what so ever just a couple of questions. Such as: the headlight wipers do they come on automatic or is there a hidden button the i need to know about. Also, well the s60 body kit fit on the s80,I know that the s80 is bigger the s60 but i don't know how much wider it actually is; and will the one-piece s60 headlight fit on the s80? I just like that one piece clean look of the headlight. How does the grille come out i would like to paint my grille black to match the color of the car. Any feedback will help greatly!!!

Welcome to the forum and congradulations on the S80 T6. Great car. As for the grill, you have to first remove the headlights and then unhook it from the inside. I think there are 4 latches (2 top, 2 bottom) holding it in place. Maybe there are more. Just make sure you don't break the metal hook pieces.

 

The headlight wiper come on with the washers.
No the S60 kit or the headlights won't fit.
If you remove the plastic clips across the top of the bumper cover under the hood then you can pull out some and get the grill out. You have to remove the bumper cover to get the headlights out.

 

[sm=welcomesign.gif] ShowtimeT6. Awesome car! Agree with Tech, headlamp wipers work when the windscreen washer is operated. On most models it's every 4th time that the windscreen washer is operated.
