Bought a used 2005 XC70 in beautiful visual condition inside and out around thanksgiving with 165k. Had 9 first years service records under leases. Timing service done 2014. Had a couple issues, broken windshield, broken right front shock and sick pvc system. Seller came down to cover quite a bit, so I'm happy with eventual cost. I knew that I wanted this car, and having read so many treads on this site before buying I was prepared when I this gold/tan one in fine shape. I'm about 60 and teach part-time. I used the car for taking the grandkids to the park, hauling guests at Christmas and many trips to local steelhead fishing spots (love heated leather). The car is wonderful. I drove my classic MG for 7 months while shopping after my other rig died so it's taken a little to get used to the size and steering. I had grandpas 70 buick estate wagon in high school so it's coming back. The car is wonderful on the highway, a comfortable cruiser with enough go. I'm getting 25 mph. City driving is easy with good visibility and acceleration when you need it, Love the big doors with car seats, and the built in booster. 16mpg during xmas city driving only.
