Hi! Im a new member to this forum that I have found very helpful to me in my research in becoming a first time Volvo owner. The vehicle of consequence is an '86 240DL wagon that I will be picking up tomorrow. It was essentially a 1 owner car until last year;it seems sound and is rustfree and drives well. Has a thick folder of maintanence records that came with it that I will be perusing as it had 294K miles on it last year when the odo stopped working. Thanks to members here, I expect to have the odo working in no time. Other vehicles in the stable are a 2002 (last year imported to USA) Isuzu Trooper and '96 Audi A4 Quattro. I'll be looking at all the entries for my model Volvo to get a feel of other issues. Thanks to all for being here.
