Hello all, new member here. Bought my XC60 just after Christmas and ever since I've had it I get a "low battery charge" warning message if I'm listening to the radio with the engine off after about 2minutes. The dealer says that's normal and it's to stop people flattening the battery. I've a 1 year warranty with the car, is he fobbing me off because he doesn't wan to replace the batteries or, telling the truth? Any replies would be much appreciated. Rob.

What year car and exactly what battery do you have? For some years a battery such as the Volvo 30772236 is needed to keep that message from appearing. The same exact battery is sold as an interstate mt92-t7, or a die hard gold T7 . It is a made in Germany battery - and other parts stores sell the same exact battery under their name.

The battery monitoring system needs to be reset after a battery change.
