I'm now on my second "brick". 1st was an '88 240 wagon (retired at 190,000 due to north east rust belt cancer), current is a '94 940 (175,000 mi).

I hope you have a good luck with your 940. Visit the 940 forum when you have technical questions/answers. As to the N.E rust belt problem, frequent washing is the only solution I know of.
