Newbie!
Bought me a V70 '98 2,5 10V aut. Its a dream come true me being a Volvo fan all my life. The comfort is complete and it almost makes me forget the 1,1 l it uses every 10 k...
Ive joined this forum to learn about maintenance. Last service was ages ago and I can feel that there are work needing to be done. For eksample now in the cold it has a hard time starting. Any hints? And it fogs up so I guess the cabin filter needs changing.
Anyhow, I look forward to browsing the forum for help.

RE: Newbie!
Welcome to the forum, I wish you find it helpful & enjoyable.
The most common fogging problem is the ventilation setting set at "Recirc" mode, which keeps recirculating the air inside cabin. If this is the case, simply turn the vent mode to "outside air" and turn the outlet to "Defrost" mode. If this is not the case, then give us detailed setting on your A/C and post a thread in the V70 forum.
Be sure to follow scheduled maintenance to get most out of your Volvo. In my opinion, 80% or more people fail to follow this and their cars break down prematurely. This thread is designed for 850, but many items apply to V70 as well:

Good luck to you & your Volvo,
