Hey everyone,

I just bought a 87' 240 DL Wagon(277XXX) a few days ago as a back up car. So far, Im enjoying it very much. Ive been a Land Rover owner for quite a while now, and consequently, am a LandRoversOnly forum member. Before becoming a member with LRO, I knew nothing about Land Rover. Now I can perform most any task dealing with a vehicle sporting the green oval... Sort of what might require specific tools. Anyways, thats the reason I decided to register with you guys over here. If you guys are half has knowlegdable and helpful as LRO has been, then Im sure in a short time Ill be able to say the same about Volvo. Anyways, I just wanted to get my name out there and say hi to everyone. Ill be lurking the forums and learning everything I can about this car, but Im sure you guys will be hearing from me soon. Man, why is it that everyone finds a wagon and not I? Make sure to post pics. of your wagon for all to drool over. You probably won't need to do too much work on your 240 just make sure to go over some of the basics to keep it in good running order. Those old bricks are foolproof vehicles and are super reliable. I just cant believe how well and strong this car runs for its age and the mileage! 277XXX!!! and it drives better then most late 90's models with a third of the mileage on em. I dont think this thing will ever die. Next to my 97' Disco I, this is the best car Ive owned yet. I frikin love it.
