Default Newbie here

Newbie to this great forum, but old timer to Volvo's I have some questions about these new fangled s series newbie Volvos. So off to the correct forum I go.

I could post pics, but this s40 has that wonderful flower pealing 3D effect, do you really want to see it?

That much is true, at least the PO was classy enough to match the color of the cord he used to hang out of the trunk so I can unlock it so to get into it.

This isn't my first rodeo with Volvos, my first was an 1985 240D which Praise Jesus saved my wife and oldest son. in 1995 my wife was driving south and a brand new Ranger 4x4 was driving north and crossed into her lane and hit her head on, after the wreck all 4 of the 240's tires was on the ground and the Ranger 4x4 had to be towed away on a flatbed the other driver suffered a broken ankle as did my wife my son faired worse but recovered completely. The officer on the scene told me that if my wife would have been driving anything else but a Volvo, that I would have been identifying them in the city morgue.
