Default newbie saying hi

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I have owned 3 different Volvos for the past 9 years. The first was a 98 S70(?) sedan, the second was a 2002 V70 wagon, and now I own a 2000 S40. The first two were under warranty the entire time, but the S40 is not. In reading the posts, I'm a little worried. I have looked at a lot of forums and you seem like pretty straight shooters. Not a lot of B.S. and garbage. Props to Tech, you seem to be everywhere. Not that the rest of you aren't, tech just stuck in my mind. I look forward to helping out and learning. With the latest car out of warranty, I plan on doing almost everything myself. It has typical 'check engine light' and front suspension knocking issues, so I read the posts with much interest. Thanks for your time.

Greetings,

I wish you find the forum helpful & enjoyable.

When you wish to post a thread for a technical question, please do a bit of in-forum research as you can often find answers. Also, be sure to post technical questions in model-specific forum.

The S40s seem to have some problems in the secondary ignition coil packs, not sure if it is a result of age/use.

Good luck to you,

JPN
