I just purchased a 2002 volvo s60 t5, silver w/ leather interior. Wasn't my 1st choice , but this is what I ended up with (husband convinced me) as of yesterday I own it. I test drove it and we took it for a long drive last night and it seems the turns are bit shaky and it seems as if we are going to slide or something? Well it has grown on me a little bit as I am learning about the make. The dearler where we purchased is making repairs needed and all safety repairs as well.

All I ever knew about Volvo's were that they were a German car, box style car and if ever in an accident they were like a tank (truth to this?) and safe. Can anyone give me some 411 on this car... interested in knowing.

and what was the first choice in front of the s60t5??

 

My 1st choice was a Mazda CX7. I had a Mazda 626, 2002... started giving me problems about a yr ago and well I got tried. The Volvo has 75,000 miles on it which I think is pretty good for a 2002. My 2002 Mazda had 145,000.

Welcome to the forum. It will grow on you. I've had my 02 S60 for about 5 years now. It's one of my favorite cars I've ever owned.
