Noob to the Volvo world
Morning everyone...
Just wanted to say hello to fellow Volvo owners here. Just a little background on me: I have been around the forum for some time now. I do have plenty of experience with Japanese imports and some European imports as well, mainly Audis...
Anyhow long story short I might be getting myself in new project. 2005 Volvo s40 T5. I am hopping to find as much information as needed about the car. Sad to say but the owner is explaining that the engine threw a rod which came out of the oil pan??? Haven't seen the car yet, but its supposed to be a very nice ride with "only" 136K Black on Black FWD and automatic...
I am not new to the concept of rebuilding engines but I am hopping that I am not getting myself into a huge head ache here...
With this being said I am going to dig in the S40 section now to see what the over all conses is about that car...
