morning all! my family's been long-time volvo owners, starting with a '77 244DL back in the day. there's currently a '98 s70 in the motor pool, and i'm just a car enthusiast who likes swedish cars.
anyways, the main reason i'm here right now is because of my boss, who has a '98 v70GLT. i'm trying to locate a good indie mechanic for him in the new york city area. he's been using martin's volvo, and has not been happy with constantly being ripped off. the car's been sitting for awhile waiting for some bodywork, and now a whole host of little mechanical problems need to be dealt with. so, anyone have any recommendations?
