I am new to Volvos. My college age daughter recently bought a 2000 S40. Nice car, needs a littler TLC. I know I will need some expert help as I sort it out!

Welcome.....Im in the same position as you are and love the S40. I would have taken an S40 long before this S80 I have. Is yours the 1.9t?

 

Yes. Although it is high mileage, the person who sold it to her works at the shop where it has been serviced for the past 4 years and he was very confident about it. I am chasing down a couple of noises, and probably going to replace the tie rod ends before I send her back with it.
