I have 2000 V70 with 247k miles. Recently, my electric fan has been intermittent. When it doesn't work, the engine overheats and boils out the expansion tank. I've replaced the fan relay (ebay part, trying to save $$$) but it is still intermittent. Lately, with the severe cold, it hasn't been too big an issue, but it is warming up and when I shut off the car the fan is not coming on and steam and antifreeze are coming out. Any suggestions.
