Hi from the Algarve in Portugal. Although originally from Plymouth in the U.K., I now live in Portugal where my air conditioning in my 2004 V40 1.9 turbo diesel is hardly ever off! I've had the car from new and have experienced few problems with it. (At least, none that I haven't been able to overcome). I will probably end up taking a 80-mile round trip to the Volvo dealer in Faro to cure my latest problem, but here in Portugal, everything peripheral to Volvo is very expensive. For instance, a new coolant temperature control sensor cost me just over 70€/£55 here. Phew! Still, at least now I can call on other experiences to help. Good to be here.
