Hi all,
My volvo s60 will not go into 4th gear in that it doing a lot of tearing when i try to put it into fourth gear. It work fine in all the other gears. Is that due to a gearbox tranmission issue or is gearbox synchro worn. I understand the gearbox is M56. If it is an synchro issue can that be fixed without replacing the gearbox and if a replacement is needed what should I be looking for on the partfinder websites ( cannot source it new as it no longer in production).
