Saying hello
Joined awhile back. Lurking for about two years.
Am a Robertdiy subscriber on YouTube.
Over a thirteen year period I bought four new vehicles. I counted the lost coin. Do we buy homes or invest to lose money? No. So I looked at a well to do friends experience over thirty years with Volvo.
I Looked at the cost of older Volvo's. Studied 940's, 740's specifically. I was looking for a heavy duty vehicle with an engine that could power a 46 foot sailboat and lose a timing belt with no internal damage. Those models fit bill. So here I am. On one weekend in April 2014 sold my 2005 Jetta and "08 Civic (both bought new) and bought two Volvo's with 250k each that had less road noise and drove better than these vehicles. No regrets
