Volvo C30 2010 engine problem
Hi,
A week ago I bought a Volvo C30, 2010 reg. I noticed problems with acceleration and noise under the hood when slowing down on the motorways. I took it to the local garage and 2 engine fault codes popped up.
7700 Engine control module (ECM)
2A20 Particle Trap, Defective Signal
The car has done around 500 miles since March 2020.
Is it possible to fix it under the deanship warranty or is it best to change it for a different car?

I wouldnt go so far to say throw the whole car out, unless you have some other major problems. Is your local mechanic a Volvo mechanic? If not I would take it to one, or a dealership, and get a proper diagnostic, not an error code readout.
As far as warranty goes, probably not. A 12 y old car will not fall under warranty.
