Volvo newbee
Good afternoon,
I've just bought a 93 940 turbo that will become my son's first car. I'm anxious to check out this forum and learn about these cars. I have experience with VWs, having built a couple of "classic" beetle convertibles, motorcycles and other classics, but this will be my first experience with Volvo. Right now it has an intermittent elec issue with the fuel gauge and dash lights, so i look forward to everyone's experience to help me with my new brick!

Welcome to the forum, you have come to the right place. The electrical issue you are describing sounds like the contacts on the back of the gauge is starting to dry up and crack. This happens over time and not that hard to fix.
