i'm jay, new to the forum, i'm big into hondas but about a year ago changed things up little bit and bought a 99 s80, i love it and just want to get a little more into the volvo scene and learn as much about volvos as i did about hondas.
soon i wanna start adding some mods to my s80, just start out with some wheels and a little drop, i'll be asking around for a good quality spring for a good price. i'll be updating my garage with what its looking like now and keep it updated as time goes on....

Is your 99 s80 and 2.9 and or a T6?

It it is just the 2.9L NA model don't go into engine mods that much there aren't many out there for that model. Now for the T6 model you have more options.

As far as wheels go you have a 5x108mm bolt pattern. Discount Tire Direct and TireRack are good starting points to look for rims and tires. 17-18 inch is the way I would go. Anything bigger and your loosing performance and only gaining weight and just the curb side appeal of a bigger rim.

Those are your options for lowering springs. You may want to also look into some nice anti sway bars. And IPD USA is the only place that sells upgraded sway bars for Volvo's.
