Hey everyone I am new to the forums and Volvo ownership as well. My wife and I purchased a 2005 XC 90 back in October. We had previously owned a Suburban but really loved the look and amenities of the XC 90. My buddy owns a car lot and had a blue XC 90 and worked me a killer deal on it and we have been ecstatic about our purchase ever since.

I love keeping the wife's (she makes sure I know its hers) detailed to the hilt as I detail cars as a side business. I'll be heading over to the detailing section and post up my process and products along with pics of the Volvo! Glad to be here and look forward to learning a ton! And if I can help in the detailing section I'll be glad to.

My wife also drives our XC90, and it's also an '05. I know exactly what you mean about loving the look and amenities. I had the opportunity to drive it out of town over the weekend and still can't get over it... fabulous vehicle.

We've got 58K miles on ours, and with no issues to speak of, and wish you the same success with yours.
