94 850 turbo smoking
Ok so my trusty Volvo is acting up...
she's smoking when idoling at running temp. she does it both in drive and when the trans is disengaged so I know it isn't that.
She is running rough which should be my spark plug wires and the plugs themselves.
Now I just had the Radiator changed LESS than 2000 miles ago and the fan doesn't appear to be running... could something be wrong there?
Could the engine be airbound and I have coolant in the engine itself causing the smoke?
The smoke itself comes out as condensation first then it's blue with a light oil burning smell...
any adivce would be great thanks

If the fan isn't running, is the car overheating? Burning coolant has a sweet, rubbery smell to it. If you're seeing oil smoke, either your rings are shot or your turbo is kaput. A compression test would point you in the right direction.
I do get an occsional rubbery smell going up a hill...
I also get a smell of rotten eggs from time to time... catty maybe?
the Car isn't overheating which is strange but the fan never turns off to cool the engine when I shut it off or even if I step outside of it...
