Default Boss offered to by my car!

LOL...my boss saw the S80 I purchased over the weekend and offered me $1000.00 more than I paid for it. I politely told him no and that I would be keeping the car. He asked how much I paid and said "damn you stole that thing". lol ... For the record my boss knows his cars, he owns an Acura NSX, an 05 Vette, and some kind of newer BMW, etc, etc. His last words before I pulled off were "those Sweed's make some damn good cars" lol

LOL....I ALREADY TOLD HIM I WOULD TRADE FOR THE VETTE BUT HE SAID NO...LOL...

THIS CAR IS GROWING ON ME SO I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD EVEN SELL IT AT THAT? I ONLY PAID $2400.00 WHICH I THINK WAS A PRETTY GOOD DEAL? IT DOES HAVE ALMOST 200K MILES BUT IT IS IN AWESOME CONDITION AND STILL RUNS LIKE A CHAMP, NOT TO MENTION EVERYTHING STILL WORKS ON IT (KNOCK ON WOOD)

What a decent boss you have, can't even compare with my a......

"those Sweed's make some damn good cars"

That's probably why he downgraded to NSX, Vette & BMW[8D].

But I'm wondering, that if he can afford a few $$$ cars, couldn't he just go to the local dealer and get a new S80 out of the lot?

Counter $20,000 more + pay cut () and see what he says.

BTW, I have a spell-check thing on top of my writing window, which I believe was added automatically. I also have toolbar items, the same functions as in MS-Word. But this thing isn't smart enough to correct "by" to "buy" or things like that[8D].

lol...yeah, he's a penny pincher with his $$ until it comes to spending it all on our Race Team! Anything they want they get. He is always looking for cheap used cars and stuff for the employees to drive if one of their cars breaks down or what-not. The last employee with a car issue drove his vette for 2 months! Must be nice, however, I don't have the option to tell him that since he knows I own 3 cars...lol...I'm sure he could go buy a few of them fropm the lot, I think he was just commenting on my car and couldn't believe that I would buy a "luxury sedan" since for the most part I have always owned American Muscle Cars and Trucks with big a$$ wheels and such ??

As a Kentucky hillbilly I resemble that remark.

No, it is a 2.9 but I wish it were the T6. In any event I felt I got a good deal. I purchased it for my fiance' but I have found myself driving it to work the last 4 days...lol...I absolutely love it!

It was for his daughter. He bought here a new Pontiac G6, yet she still drives his BMW all the time.
