Do I have a good Volvo????
If it is a 960 then it is a RWD.
If it is FWD it is not a 960. Also mid 1997 they made a S90 and carried that over to 98 and that was the last year but it was still a RWD car.

You engine should look like this:
My mistake. It is a RWD. 1997 960. I went to the garage and looked. Yes that is the same motor in the picture as the one under my hood. Is that the good one? That one is cleaner.
Any recommendations n cleaning up this motor?
Thanks, John

The car in the picture must never be drive or leave the garage (not my car).
The motor is fine, just keep up on regular oilchanges and maintenance/ tune ups and you will be fine.
You can get engine degreaser/cleaner (we use gunk)and a hose to clean it. It dose get very messy and your drive will hate you for a few seconds
You will want to take some time andcover things that could allow water to get in the motor.

Seems to be running fine on regular gas. I've heard that the computer will adjust for this. I have also heard many different opinions on this. What will happen if I keep using regular gas?
Thanks, John
