Default To Fix or to Custom?

I own a 1976 Chrysler Newport, pictured below. The driver side torsion bar has broken. I'm wondering if I should go through the trouble of trying to find a replacement part (probably wrecking yard) or whether to do something more custom, such as an air ride kit. What are your thoughts?

HMMMM thats a little hard to decide on that one.
The air bags would look so cool on it.

But on the other hand is it really worth it.

Not a car I would put much money into. Probably the era where America made the worst cars in history.

Slam it, air ride it, big wheels, furry steering wheel cover and leopard print seat covers. Go ahead, Pimp your ride.
