I'd probably let it go without making them do any other free stuff other than fixing that P117 code or whatever it was that showed up the next day. It already cost them that ticket, embarasment, etc. I would tell them that it's not necessary but if they insist let them do what they want. Just check and double check your service from now on (maybe they can assign you a specific tech).

Oh wow! Then that's why.... They realize they have a good customer. So I see why they are treating you so nice. That's important thou, because they show that they really messed up. If you are worried about that, then I would ask your service advisor to make sure to either assign the car to one particular tech, or make sure to tell him not to give that tech the car on his team. When I had my Eclipse, I had the advisor always give the car to the same tech because that person knows the car well and knows what the car really needs and allso helps in diagnosis of issues later down the road!
