I'd probably let it go without making them do any other free stuff other than fixing that P117 code or whatever it was that showed up the next day. It already cost them that ticket, embarasment, etc. I would tell them that it's not necessary but if they insist let them do what they want. Just check and double check your service from now on (maybe they can assign you a specific tech).

I was shocked at how overly friendly they were today lol. He gave me alignment + oil change job for free today and we called it at that~

Nice..... well how long have u been going to that place? if you've been gong there a while, I am sure the embarassment will remain fresh plus they will want to make sure to keep you happy so you keep on spending money!

been goin there since 2004 ~~ and they have given me good service everytime, vept this one time. I hope that Tech doesnt get to work on my car though, cuz Im sure he would try and get/spite me back.

Oh wow! Then that's why.... They realize they have a good customer. So I see why they are treating you so nice. That's important thou, because they show that they really messed up. If you are worried about that, then I would ask your service advisor to make sure to either assign the car to one particular tech, or make sure to tell him not to give that tech the car on his team. When I had my Eclipse, I had the advisor always give the car to the same tech because that person knows the car well and knows what the car really needs and allso helps in diagnosis of issues later down the road!
