Default Here is one deal for you!

Listen to this one some of you know I have been trying to sell my Cutlass convertable.

I have been having a hard time trying to sell it.
It is supposed to be a rare car 1 of 1515. I started off asking 3K for it.
Long store short asking 1K for it now.
Got a call yesterday about a guy wanting to look at it. Was 1 mile from my house told him where the car was and he looked at it while I was at work.
He called me tonight and wants to know if I will take $500.00+ a riding lawn motor that is supposed to be in almost new condition.
I have one more person that is also supposed to look at it this weekend. If that guy doesn't come through I think I will do the deal.

What do you guys think?

If all else failed I was going to take $800.00 cash for it. So I think $500.00 plus a riding lawn mower should make that a good deal. It is supposed to be a MTD Yard Machine.
Started searching online but Hate reading through everything trying to figure stuff out.
I saw some riding ones for almost $400.00 so if it is in good condition it will still be a good deal.
He also offered a tredmill thats supposed to be worh over 1k instead of the mower.
But me or the wife use the treadmill YAH RIGHT!!!.

Thanks for reading and giving an opinion if you have one.

Besides I want it out of the driveway.

Which one my car or the mower?
The mower is supposed to be in good shape and running.
He even said he would bring it to me so I can see it first.

My car runs but have a brake problem.
I have been 100% honest with him. He doesn't car what is wrong he wants the car.

Asking about the car...just curious, pilots in my area are always looking for cheap reliable wheels to be used as crashpad cars.

The car has a brake problem.
I put almost 1k into it trying to figure it out.
But the guy knows already.
I have had it on craigslist for about 6 months now.

At least FL doesn't have state inspections! Haha. I keep my Volvo registered in FL because (1) no inspections and (2) it's something like $35/year to keep it titled there.

Haha I lived in NJ for 4 months. I quickly moved back to FL. NJ is the armpit of the nation. Way too stuck up for me too. If you don't drive a BMW or Mercedes you are a loser. My wife had the only pickup in our neighborhood too, we thought that was funny.

A little town named Madison. I worked at Teterboro airport, that was a fun drive! It was actually a neat little town. I'm in NYC today, went to Times Square, way too many people. It was fun but I couldn't live up here ever again. I don't know how people do it!

Do they accept Lexus or Acura?

I would go for the lawn mower and mod it. I would turbocharge it, ABS it, TRAC it, HID it, thrust reverse it, spoiler it, and jet power it. Not to worry, if you need me to convince your wife, I can always supply you with, yes of course, SUGGESTED SCENARIO!!!

So, here's the convincing sug...

Wife: Is that you, JPN?
JPN: ......

Tech, Put Volvo insignia's all over it. Ha, that will sell it.
I looked on Cars.com and found the average price for it much higher than $800.I betit coversa wider audience too. Sad to say, but being an Olds, an extinct car, the buyers are dwindling.

Yes I know but it also still has the brake issue that could end up costing about 4K to repair.

No its a unique system in the car. Its called a Power master III system.
No brake booster. It has a Nitrogen filled cylinder that helps assist the brakes.
Almost the same system as the Grand National but has ABS.

I saw on the Red Green show, He put ceiling fans under his spare car and used it for a lawnmower. Your problem is solved.
