I am a disables person and find the mercedes A140 a comfortable car for my condition. It is the right height for me getting in and out and the floor is raised so I am sitting in a comfortable position for my disability. Other cars cause me pain.
The car has had it's problems though and recently had to have the gearbox changed at 46.000 miles. I had heard of problems with these before but was assured that it was a thing of the past, and I really wanted the car because of the comfort.
Luckily the the gearbox failed just inside the warranty period and was replaced by the Mercedes dealer free of charge, but would have cost me thousands if I was paying for it.
I am very worried that this will happen again or to another of the same model if I was to change the car. This is why I am here, I am looking for an alternative with the same features to suit my physical disability.
What would be the best alternative if there is one.

 

I think that volvo cars are really comfortable when we sit.if you are searching for a new car then i would suggest you to go for volvo.

I would like to suggest to you volvo or any of other Kind of SUV's because these provide ample space and riding comfort !

I Have know about your problem and yr dis abilities,We are in Volvo forum so obviously i tell Volvo for an option, but i prefer u should stick to Mercedes A140 now and consult any car expert or modifier for your modification.
