Default occupations?

Since we're on the "what has its" questions...what does everyone do for a living in here?

I'm a geologist working as an environmental consultant. BUT, i'm going back to school for architectual drafting because the environment sucks...jk

I am an insurance defense lawyer in Nashville, TN. While that sounds quite bad, I am quite fair, and it is no where as dirty as domestic work or criminal defense. Though many of you would probably think my clients (insurance companies) are crooks themselves. While I do agree with you, they pay my bills.

Yeah! actually... I just passed the written part of it. It will deal with Architectural Historic Conservation, I'm pondering the inhability of permanent structures to be useful through time. I say that impermanent structures that include the hability to be flexible and change, will eventually become permanent by perpetual usage....

Sorry if it is not that well understood, but it has 35pages and to have a summery would give a long post... but.... That is the main idea... Impermanence becomes permanent through perpetual usage.

Dude...you could totally incorporate the need for Green Architecture as a result of humanities own impermanent building habits as a sort of consiquence for raw material usage!

I'm in school for architectual drafting right now.....environmental consulting blows goats.

Well, It all comes down really to create a better and livable city! My priority is to create the idea of a system by which building reuse if cost-effective... after that, the reusage of buildings will not have the need to keep expanding. Green Architecture, is incorporated in the final design, although it was not the priority. I've had my fare share in the investigating of green roofs and green walls (you read it right). It is such a fascinating and complex science, it is not just to plant things... it is a whole new structured study you have to make to have it succeed!

But.... I'll take the idea for the design... thanks!!!

And... Why do people asume I'm a boy?!!!..... NO... I'm a Volvo Loving Girl!!!

You called me Dude!! Hahahahaha!!!

But I still liked your Idea... I haven't thought of green arch for the final design! Nice to meet someone I could ask about drafting, why you say environmental consulting blows goats? My mother works in the EPA and when retired she will work as one, and.. well... here it is some good money that profesion.

Luckytweaker, you are welcomed! Hahaha!!

Dude is what i call everyone...i picked it up from my wife...so on that note, i shall refer to you as DUDET. lol......FYI, I knew you were a dudet because of your cardomain page...very nice btw if you haven't heard me say so by now.

My position as an environmental consultant has nothing to do with pro environmental activities. It has to do with saving/making banks money and working around environmental issues. The reason my job sucks vs. your mother's is she protects the environment...i find ways to avoid it. By no means am i an activist but the sad truth is i'm cheating the world everytime i write some environmental catastrophy off...and believe me, i've worked around some woppers. SO....i'm getting out. As a matter of fact, i have a job interview on friday at Permasteelisa here in the Twin Cities....Maybe i'll get to travel!
