Default Opinions (a little project)

This is not totally complete. I need to find a Yellow paint close to the car. Then I am going to do the Volvo and 20 valve in Yellow and on the TB cover going to paint the indent line yellow as well.

I like being unique so I was giving this a shot.

Let me know what you think.

And a few of them laying on top of the motor.

If you could yellowtise the wordings, that would be great.

I only found one fault in the engine bay; your coolant reservoir is dirty!!!

Here's a suggestion. You could perhaps paint the reservoir in transparent yellow to make your 850 even yellower.

Just kidding. Your 850 looks better than anyone else's. I'd also like to see the updates with your wify's white 850.

There has not been much done on the wifes lately. Because of typical stuff. She puts a ton of miles on it fast.

Tech, Gilber, what kind of paint did you guys use? That gives me something to think about when I get some time on my hands.

You may call me Gabe if you wish, that is my real name. Gilber33 is what the state calls me through UWM.

It is just high heat engine paint that I picked up from autozone. They have a few different colors, but that's what it is.

I think the brand is the duplicolor but it is the engine paint. The color I got was a ford blue.
That is the same color I painted the calipers a few months ago.
Now I need to find a Yellow close to mine to finish it up.

The only thing I have to say to the engine bay tech, is it needs a good degreasing...

I though you have a polished intake mani on the car???? that would add more to the painted pieces.

cool!

It will look sweet! I wanted to do a blue black and silver theme in the bay... no time now, and working on the other car now.

This is what I planned for the 745T (Cameron's car):

I am going to do a twin turbo setup for the 244T. like Mats Ivarson's car.
will hopefully happen in the next 5years.

That blue makes me a little sick to the stomach. I guess it will have to grow on me.

I did see one that iPD did that was like a honeycomb texture. It was glossy as well. I would be afraid to try to keep it clean.

I like the blue, but yeah, I would be afraid to get it dirty. I don't know much about the 240 motors, but how much of those gears do you actually see once the motor is in? Like for 850's, you would never see those gears once the engine is in.

Wait, who's this guy??? ^^^^^

And with the gears pointing towards the front like that, looks badazz. I like it, too bad it wouldn't look like that in an 850.
