Default "Send to car" Android app for Sensus Navigation

Hi guys!

I'm new to the forum.
I recently received my new V60 D3 summum and I loved the "Send to car" feature from here.com, but without VOC it was very hard to send locations from a mobile phone.

Hope you don't find this is as spam...
So... I have developed my own app to share locations from Google Maps app.

You can take a look to it:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ta.sendtovolvo

It's free!
Hope you guys find it usefull!
Don't hesitate to contact if you have any issues, I know there might be some problems with different Google Maps countries.

That's pretty awesome - beginning to wish I had an Android instead of an iPhone!

I'm a software developer myself, so I'm curious as to how you implemented this... Do you use the here.com API, or is there a Volvo one you use?

I'd like to write an iOS version of this, so anything you can share would be much appreciated!

Well, as there is no public API... just sniff traffic on here.com

That was my original go-to plan... I was just concerned that it might prove fruitless if the server-side script cared about the origin of requests!

Thanks

Madcat,

As there is no official Here - Send to car api, you should better try to sniff it by yourself, is pretty simple!

Hi osus,

I see unfortunately this app is no longer available on Google Play.

That's bad news, as I dislike very much Nokia's Here--not good on mobile devices, and I can't send to the car everything I need (I can send only e.g. restaurants, hotels... but not villages).

Is there a chance you could send me your app by email or something? It would be very very helpful!

Cheers!
