Default Shop Vac Info...

I'm doing odd jobs to hussle a few bucks and have detailed a few cars. I'm looking to get a small shop vac to help me do the job faster. I would like to get something 5 gallons or smaller. Anyone have any experience with any of them? How many HP would I need to get? I'd like to to be strong enough to pick up quarters and penny size marbles, any good or bad ones out there?

LOL... Funny you should mention this, I just bought one on Sunday.

Here is the one I bought..Shop Shop-Vac 4-Gallon 2 Peak HP Shop Vacuums at Lowes.com

Small enough to carry in one hand, and not get in the way.
It really sucks, but in a good way... Sucked out all the debris clogging my trunk drains..

I was looking at this one but I didnt have the cash....http://www.lowes.com/pd_127133-20097...7C1&facetInfo=

I looked at several today. Shop-Vac put one out that was $65. It was a 4.5 gal/ 4.5 hp machine. I'd like to keep it under 5 gals. What's the deal with the bag on some of them? How can it have a bag & be a wet vac? Maybe they don't use the bag when doing wet stuff.

I tried a small one at Home Depot and it seemed good but when I got home I realize that my home machine is stronger. I don't want to use my home maching for cleaning out cars. My home maching also has a 12.5 amp motor. That stronger than most of those shop vacs.

I'll go by Lowe's tomorrow to look at those. At least they are my favorite color. Maybe one of these things can clear my sink clog.

A couple of them claimed to be quiet. I'd like that.

The shop vacs are great vacuums. The husky ones are great also.
