Default Skyline GT-R

Nissan has finally decided to give it a shot in the U.S market, FYI:

And I am waiting for Volvo to get serious about re-designing the 850.

Yeah it will be way retuned for the US. It will have half that power, then we will have to buy kits to make it what it should be and more.

And I don't know why they do that. I remember that there was no Supra Turbo with manual gearbox; they only sold the turbo models with automatic gearbox for the U.S market[8D].

Japanese market version of GT-R comes with L-6 twin turbo, AWD, etc... GT-R got more attention than any other car at Tokyo Motor Show; it was hard just to get closer to the car. Volvo & Honda & Ford were really domesticated this time. Mazda had some futuristic-looking concept car which I thought was ugly (the car was named "Taiki"="The atmosphere" in English)[8D].

Wow so you finally get the Skyline in the Usa,
Skyline's have been the "boy racer" choice of car here in Australia for the last 17 years or so.
I like the R32 "Godzilla" twin turbo AWD model early 90's you never go a skyline at the light's they blow most things off, and are so easy to mod its not funny....

Good luck

I'm not sold on the styling, though I hear it has amazing wind tunnel numbers. And you can't argue with the performance of technology... it just looks... weird.

The new Corvette ZR-1 on the other hand... Yes please!

Proably have one of these sitting in my garage by the end of the year. What can I say, I am a turbo 3.8 V6 kind of person.

Well, that'll be MSRP, but I'm sure it's going to get the typical dealer markup like the Mustang GT500/GT500KR, Ford GT, Corvette ZR-1, etc.

There was a road test of a JDM GT-R (right hand drive) by Edmunds.com I believe; it was pretty impressive! I'll see if I can dig it up again.
