Default Is there a downside to magnatizing my tools?

I decided to take all of my screw drivers and driver bits and magnatize the tips of them. Is there a reason I shouldn't do this?

I have a large speaker magnet and just left them stuck to it for a couple of days.

I usually temporally magnetize tools when I need them to be. Few swipes across a strong magnet, and it will stay magnetized for awhile.
