Has anyone ever bought a used laptop from any online auction sites?


While browsing for cars, I stumbled across some listings on PropertyRoom.com and a couple others. The sites are generally for government agencies to sell surplus and seized property.


Prices on some were literally $3-5 since they were only good for parts, etc. Many do not have OS or even a hard drive included, but there were some that had Win 7 and some decent hardware with 60 day guarantees. Lots of those were only $50-60 winning bids.


I have never bought a used laptop...anyone have experience on any sites like that or buying a used laptop?
