Ok, so the way I figure it, instead of posting in the what did you buy today thread I would start a new thread. what did you spend all of that tax return money on?
I'll start,
Dell inspiron 1545 Laptop
rear brake discs and pads for the wagon
new radiator for the wagon
Mossberg .22 long rifle
and a case of .22 ammo

The question for me is more like: Where is the money going to come from to pay my taxes after doing my return? I don't like letting the government use my money. I will keep it as long as I can before giving it to them.

I like the Mossberg and ammo idea. I'll be hitting the local gunshop soon. I need a new safe as well!!! I have 20 rifles as of now. My newest is a .410/.22 over under, even though I'm a fan of larger caliber rifles. Thanks for putting a great idea in my head. One can never have enough!

I am using it to fix the roof of my house and the rest will sit in the bank till I either find another motorcycle or a clean 240 wagon.

What is this thing called a "tax refund?" It's been so long since I saw one that I don't remember what its like.

I haven't worked at all this year. I'm still a student, so normally I work a LOT over the summer... this year I didn't though. Ended up taking a class at GW over the summer, and then drunkenly bought a plane ticket to Egypt for a month. So basically, no tax refund.

Haven't done mine yet. But here is what it will be used on though. Depending on how much I get back...

- Independent Retirement Account (IRA)
- Paying off a credit card bill.
- If I have enough leftover, will be hopefully purchasing a I.O. Inc. AK47 in 7.62x39 with ammo.

The first two are a must, the third is a hope and dream if I get enough back in the return.

I got my timing belt done, a new flame trap, and an oil leak fixed at my local shop. I also bought a plane ticket to Peru, and then I was planning on saving the rest.........but I ran a "photo enforced" red light by .21 of a second and received a nice $503 ticket for doing so.
