Default Automotive Head

Does anyone know if there is an automotive head application that would replace a damaged AQ120B one? If so, what engine/vehicle should I be searching for? The AQ120B is a 1979 OHC In-Line 4 cylinder.

Thanks

I have a 120b with the same situation. same year and all!!!!! wow.

I am a mechanic in Tennessee. I think the 2.3 l head will work from an 85 760.

I have one and am lookin to put it on the boat i have, which is a 21 foot Renken with a '79 volvo penta aq 120 b engine, 270 outdrive. We will see. Feel free to e-mail me at ejbtech1 @yahoo.com for mor info............

I just got my boat running today after a year of putting it off. I have a 79 aq120b. The #4 cylinder was slapping so I pulled the head. Found that the back intake valve head had broken and the metal pieces had damaged the head and the piston. Now I have to replace both. If that auto head you talked about above fits I could save a ton of money. If not, I will have to look around for a head and piston set.
