Default MID 164 PSID 99 on twin D4-260

I have a pair of D4-260’s. I recently developed a fault MID 164 PSID 99 FMI 12 (and also FMI 14). The manual for the D4 does not actually list this code, but the D6 manual I found online seems to indicate it is something wrong in the configuration. I have a twin engine setup.

However it also tells the “control lever calibration” is wrong when I turn on the port motor. I have gone through the auto-configuration, and then again calibrated both control levers. But the error won’t go away.

Any suggestions? I have gone through auto calibration a couple of times, and also tried switching the port and starboard control levers around. However it remains the port side that has the error, even when connected to the starboard lever. So clearly not the control lever itself.
