Quick guestion if any one knows an answer it would be helpful

The idle jet screw on the solex carb does the hole from the tip of the screw run all the way though the screw to the slotted head or does it only run as far as the fuel receiving holes halfway along the shaft. I can't get my AQ151 to start up and idle and have read a blocked idle jet screw can cause this problem.
