The engine in my Sealine 410 Statesman are Volvo Penta TAMP 63P's. One of my engines has a strong whistling sound, starting at approx. 1.500 rpm and getting stronger with more rpm's. The turbo, that had some groves, has been replaced with a new one, but the strong whistling sound is still the same. My mechanic company is also puzzled about the cause. We are looking for help to find the cause. The sound seems, but hard to pin point exactly, to come from the front of the engine near the belt and water pump. I have made a video with the sound. The problem has been found. A bolt on the intake air of the turbo came loose and fell out causing the whistle sound.
