VP 2003 surging

Howdy, Has anyone had a problem with a Model 2003 surging(hunting)until it gets up to temperature then smoothing out at 170F.? It runs great at running temp. Thanks.

sounds like a sensor is going bad

have you plugged it into a computer yet
