Kind of a long shot, but I am interested in getting an older Volvo as a project/weekend car. I can't spend a ton to acquire the car, maybe $1500 but I don't mind a car that needs mechanical repairs. I would prefer a car that has decent body work and is not too rusty. I not too picky wagon vs sedan or the exact model, but am only considering cars that are RWD with a manual transmission. I am located in NJ and I don't mind traveling a few hours and getting the car transported.

i have an 89 240 wagon that had an engine fire ate wiring pretty rust free. . grabbed the gas tank and some interior panels. 5 spd and NA 2.3. $200 I am in zipcode 20866

 

I have a 1993 240 wagon, black, it has 174,000 miles on it, I just replaced the clutch but little things are annoying and I just want to get rid of this car now. its been great but I'm not a mechanic. I'm in WA state but the car is from the east coast, I drove it out here in 2017. Are you still looking?
