I went to my dealer last year because both headlights on my C70 showed signs of cracking all along the top edge and some very noticeable cracks along the inside edge (horizontal). I have no idea what could have caused this, but the dealer would not replace them under warranty and said it's not covered "due to external factors". What a bunch of BS! I called customer service and they denied it too, saying the regional rep in my area doesn't speak to customers - only to dealers. That's ridiculous. So, I've been trying to find a good used set to replace mine. Really, only the lens on the headlights is cracked, but it's sealed all around, so just replacing this would be a chore I would think. The cost of one headlight assembly is about $500 plus labor. Dang! Does anyone know where I might find a good used pair or OEM that fit my particular vehicle? I have the halogen lamps (not Xenon). They look like the gas xenon bulb, but they're not. thx for any advise/direction from those of you who are better connected than me!
