Sadly, I have decided that the only way forward for this baby is to try and find someone that wants an excellent base for an S80 project.
Car ran beautifully until timing belt let go literally on the way to having it replaced. 95,000 miles is apparently too far to push it.


Infamous tranny was replaced at 56,000 and just started leaking badly, not from the pan gasket, although functioned fine.
I pulled the head off to check valves and all intakes were slightly bent.
Whole lot of good parts, straight body with a few small dings, dark gray leather interior almost perfect except for stitching let go down on edge of kidney bolster on driver's seatback.
I work for Volvo and bought this car as a 1 year old company car in 04. I have access to parts as an employee and had asked for price and availability check but they made an error and sent them to me, all $1800 worth. if someone responds before next few days I will keep them and sell car + parts for $3,000 or best offer. otherwise I'm sending them back and selling car for best offer.
Car needs to be trailered away from my house in 91320.
