Hi All,

I just bought a 1998 V70 GLT to replace my 240 wagon. So, I'm going to sell my 240 wagon.

I've owned the car for 4 years and it's been the daily driver for my wife and kids. The odometer stopped about 2 years ago and it currently has 191k on it. I'd guess it is more like 215k-220k in reality. Since owning it I've replaced a few sensors, flushed the transmission fluid (via the radiator connections), replaced the AC compressor, replaced the drivers exterior door handle, and replaced the tires.

It's reliable, and we used to take it on a 1500 mile road trip 2-3 times yearly. I wouldn't hesitate to load everyone in and hit the road anytime.

It's got a lot of little problems. There are quite a few plastic trim pieces that have gotten brittle and cracked or broken. The front center armest has broken off, though I still have it. The front-drivers seat is pretty well torn, the front passenger seat also has several tears. The back bench seat is worn with a small tear. The third-row seat (not pictured) is in near-new condition. The stereo is the factory cassette deck, though only the radio works (no cassettes). It's a Texas car so there is no rust, but there are plenty of little dings and scratches here and there. The hood and front doors don't quite sit right. I'm sure it was in an accident at some point before I bought it. It does have a clear title and doesn't shimmy or shake on the highway (I've had it up to about 90 mph).

So, this isn't the cream puff that we'd all LOVE to find, but it's got a lot of life left. I'm selling it only because I found a good deal on a V70 and I don't have room for 3 cars. I've got this listed for $2300 locally - let me know if this price is off-base for the car. If I've under-priced it then fly in with $2300 and drive it home .
