Default Presenting... my $300 Volvo 850

I'm finally getting around to putting up a few pics of the '94 850 I got a month and a half ago for $300. I just recently started working on it... I replaced the voltage regulator and brushes in the alternator, which cured the overcharging issue it had, and I've changed the neutral safety switch that was acting up. Next on the list is PCV, plugs/ wires/ cap and rotor, and on to the other things. The pictures are just as I got it- haven't done anything to the body other than wash it.

Cool new style headlights and old style tails!
Upgrade the tails to the 95 and up ones and it will be awesome.

I actually like the shape of the 94 lights as it flows with the body a little bit better, while the 95+ bulge out a little bit.

I like the bulge of the tail lights. I guess I like a nice rear end, not flat one. LOL

Thanks It's a late 94, so those are the original headlights. I do like those better than the single- bulb ones. I did put 95-97 switches on the dash, and I might do the tails... but this car's eventual fate is to become my friend's car- she lost her job, and her car gave up about a week later, so I told her I'd sell her the 850 if I think it will be safe and reliable enough, and from driving it around, so far, I don't see any reason why it won't. Thanks for the complements

Lucky bastard! That's almost exactly like my car, but I paid $2,500 for mine.

Just curious - can you look up which month in 94 was it assembled? And does it have the newer(thicker) timing belt?

Check your engine number (which is on the timing cover), if it is more than 131155 than you have the newer belt.
